My Fibromyalgia Cure is my
website outlining how I overcame Fibromyalgia and reclaimed my health
and life. For 5 years I suffered with the standard Fibromyalgia
symptoms – aches, pains, fatigue, depression plus many more. And now I
have no pain, no fatigue and no depression. I am also drug free.
Impossible I hear you say as Fibromyalgia is a chronic incurable condition that can last a lifetime. But I believe I have found a Fibromyalgia cure that revolves simply around minerals, vitamins, gentle movement, deep breathing to encourage movement of lymph and releasing the painful tissues and restrictive fascia that envelops every muscle, organ, bone and nerve fibre throughout our entire bodies.
But why would an ordinary middle aged woman with zero medical training find a cure for Fibromyalgia when for years scientists and the medical profession cannot?
Well, quite simply their agenda for finding a Fibromyalgia cure is very different to the sheer desperation of trying everything and anything to stop the excruciating pain, crippling fatigue and the crushing depression experienced by women (and some men) that have this dreadful illness.

According to the National Health Service NHS:
‘The exact cause of fibromyalgia is
unknown, but it's thought to be related to abnormal levels of certain
chemicals in the brain and changes in the way the central nervous system
(brain, spinal cord and nerves) processes pain messages carried around
the body.’
‘It's also suggested that some people are more likely to develop fibromyalgia because of genes inherited from their parents.’
The NHS goes on to state:
‘Although
there's currently no cure for fibromyalgia, there are treatments to
help relieve some of the symptoms and make the condition easier to live
with.’
The treatments the NHS push are anti-depressants and painkillers.
Similarly FibroCenter (owned and operated by the multi-billion dollar global pharmaceutical company Pfizer) state:
‘...the pain of fibromyalgia comes from “central sensitization.” This means that the problem might be a result of overactive nerves in the central nervous system (CNS) which can cause a more intense response to pain.’
Their solution is their pain killing drug Lyrica (Pregabalin).
But
taking strong painkillers (with some grusome side effects) isn’t
‘curing Fibromyalgia’. It is attempting to treat just ONE of the symptoms of
Fibromyalgia - pain. And in the opinion of many Fibromyalgia sufferers, myself included, is that the prescribed pain killers do not even touch the pain of Fibromyalgia.
The NHS, pharmaceutical companies and even Fibromyalgia charities are of the same opinion that ‘FIBROMYALGIA IS UNCURABLE’.
I cannot accept that.
I believe that Fibromyalgia is misdiagnosed, mistreated, and misunderstood by the medical profession. As a Fibromyalgia sufferer I was a desperate seeker of correct information on the causes, treatments and possible cures.
I've read as many books as I could around the subject of Fibromyalgia, I've researched the research and I've studied the studies. And without much help from the medical profession I've treated and cured my own Fibromyalgia.
People may find this incredible and no less than miraculous, if they have believed the gloomy prognosis of this no hope, no cure, untreatable, (without major side effects) chronic condition.
I think I am eminently qualified to at least give my own personal experience of how I completely cured my own Fibromyalgia.
So, throughout this website I outline how exactly how I found my Fibromyalgia cure.
I am not 'selling' my Fibromyalgia cure. I do not recommend specific brands of supplements, aids or devices but leave it up to you, dear reader, to take as much as you want or need from my Fibromyalgia journey to recovery.
On my road to recovery I met with many obstacles, dead ends and barriers. I made many mistakes in the amount, type and correct timing of taking supplements. I have wasted lots of money on the wrong treatments. I have lurched from one 'miracle cure' to the next. If snake oil was a cure for my painful Fibromyalgia I would have bought it by the bucketful.
Previous to the onset of my Fibromyalgia I was happy, healthy and active. I, like most people have experienced pain in my life. Giving birth to 2 children, one with a very long labour, the other by emergency caesarean - both were painful. Later I had extensive dental bridge work done, (4 bridges at the same time!) which was painful. I've been stung by a wasp which was painful. I've been stung by a jelly fish which was very painful. But there is NOTHING to compare to the excruciating, intense pain of Fibromyalgia.
The prognosis for Fibromyalgia sufferers is grim. I use the term 'Fibromyalgia sufferers' as one really does suffer greatly with this despicable disease. Some people like to use the term Fibromyalgia Warriors to describe people who experience Fibromyalgia. I prefer the term Fibromyalgia sufferer.
At my worst I felt I'd walked barefoot 100 yards over hot coals, followed by 100 yards over broken glass, 100 yards over a bed of nails and finally plunging my feet into scalding hot water. My hands felt as though I'd burnt them by placing them on a hot plate or grill. At times I also had the feeling of metal nails being hammered into the palms of hands and the arches of my feet. My knuckles felt as though I'd done 15 rounds of bare knuckle fighting.
My ankles and wrists ached too as if I'd been bound up as a hostage.
Add to this the electric shock sensations that zapped my fingers and toes and made me cry out in pain. I knew exactly how victims of torture felt.
I wept with the intensity of the pain most nights.
The excruciating pain was effecting every moment of my day and night. I had thoughts of suicide.
I was also losing dexterity and feeling in my fingers and hands. I could not unscrew jars or have the ability to fill a kettle, iron clothes or use my hairdryer.
As a woman in my fifties I was experiencing the menopause with all the joys that can bring. There are apparently 34 symptoms that the menopause can produce ranging from the hellish hot flushes, to 'burnt tongue' syndrome to digestive problems to an irregular heartbeat. The list does go on, but I won't bore you with all of the details. Suffice it to say, I was suffering more than my fair share.
I was constantly fatigued and lacked interest in anything. I felt I was 90 years old and had to climb the stairs clinging on to the handrail. I could barely get out of bed and getting dressed was difficult. I ached all over - my arms, legs and backside. I contemplated life as a wheel chair user.
I became tearful and emotional for absolutely no reason at all. I began experiencing electric shocks in my fingers and toes. But by far the worst symptoms were the excruciating pains I suffered throughout my body but particular my hands and feet.
I resisted Hormone Therapy Treatment (HRT) as there was a history of breast cancer in my family. I had been warned, as all other women of my generation, by the medical profession that HRT significantly increased the risk of breast cancer, heart disease and strokes. So I had to live with the many and varied symptoms of menopause.
Just as I was reaching the end of my tether, the medical profession announced that it was now safe to use HRT.
Dubious conclusions from a medical research study in 2002 were now overturned as it was found that any 'facts' were overstated.
HRT is now seen as a way to advance the quality of life for woman, protect them from osteoporosis and guard them from heart problems.
I began to take HRT.
At the same time I decided to get tested for hypothyroidism (under-active thyroid) as my symptoms tied in with both the menopause and hypothyroidism.
I was correct in my diagnosis and began to take levothyroxine to alleviate some of the tiredness, lethargy and depression I was experiencing.
Very slowly a combination of HRT and levothyroxine alleviated many of my symptoms - no more hot flushes, renewed interest in life and more energy. The aches in my body lessened but still the very painful hands and feet plagued me, particularly in the evening.
I continued researching my symptoms and realised I had Fibromyalgia.
It was sheer luck that I found information about minerals, vitamins, gentle exercise to encourage lymph to flow and releasing restrictive fascia and acted upon that information that accumulated in finding my Fibromyalgia cure.
Gradually over weeks and months I found myself free from pain, free from fatigue and free from depression.
So surprised and shocked that my living death sentence could be lifted by making small changes, I joked to my husband that I should be awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine for finding my Fibromyalgia cure.
I’m not selling anything; I have nothing to gain by telling you how my Fibromyalgia cure got rid of my horrific symptoms.
I haven’t developed a wonder drug or come up with a miracle cure. I have however researched and researched on how taking vitamins and minerals in the correct doses, gentle exercise and releasing painful fascia can really make a difference.
You will find throughout my website information and advice that you can choose to follow to hopefully allow you to be free from the symptoms of Fibromyalgia.
The most important information I have are on SLEEP, STRESS and the LYMPHATIC SYSTEM. Please read these pages as soon as you can as they are the key to finding your own Fibromyalgia cure
Good luck in your Fibromyalgia recovery journey!
